Course Description
In this course, English Language Learners will continue to expand their knowledge of essential vocabulary and grammar through in-depth lessons and forum discussions. Students will expand their ability to interpret and produce the language in both written and oral form. Vocabulary topics explored include: health and body, clothing/shopping, tourism, types of transportation, places to go with friends, TV programs, stating preferences, giving personality descriptions, chores, forms of communication, professions, and environmental concerns. Grammar topics include: regular and irregular past tense verbs, relative pronouns, indefinite pronouns, making comparisons, commands and phrases of necessity/obligation, future tense, conditional tense, and using formal and informal language. These vocabulary and grammar topics combined with cultural exploration make this course a dynamic and comprehensive level 2 ESL course.

- Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 9 months
- 1/2 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 4 months
- 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 2 months

ABBREVIATED COURSES - A shortened course intended for students seeking to make-up failed courses or recover credits.
- Abbreviated Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 60 days.
- Abbreviated 1/2 and 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 30 days.

PARTIAL COURSES - A partial version of an online course intended for students temporarily away from classes (i.e. Home Bound Instruction, In/Out-of School Suspension).
- Partial courses must be completed by your school's end date
