Course Description
Building upon their previous foundation, students will strengthen their language skills through thematic interactive lessons. Each unit will give students ample opportunities for ownership of their learning via forum discussions and provide guided practice for writing, speaking, and listening in Japanese. Topics explored include: around the home, places around town, weather, sports/leisure activities, and shopping/foods. Grammar topics explored include: adjectives, further comparisons/superlatives, further expressing reasons, additional counters, adverbs, te-form, invitational form, and volitional form.

These vocabulary and grammar topics combined with cultural exploration make this course an engaging, comprehensive continuation of the beginner level middle school Japanese course.
