Course Description English Language Learners will be introduced to essential vocabulary and grammar through in-depth lessons which include participating in thoughtful forum discussions, and learning to interpret and produce the language in both written and oral form. Vocabulary topics explored include: greetings, family relationships, school/classes, telling time and daily routines. Grammar topics explored include: definite and indefinite articles, noun/adjective agreement, expressing possession, subject pronouns and present tense verbs. These vocabulary and grammar topics combined with cultural exploration make this course a dynamic, comprehensive beginner level ESL course. Self Paced Scheduling Information Complete Courses - Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 9 months - 1/2 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 4 months - 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 2 months Abbreviated Courses - Abbreviated Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 60 days. - Abbreviated 1/2 and 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 30 days.
