Course Description Are you an artistic person drawn to the idea of creating graphic elements? Then a career in digital design may be for you! In the first half of the course, you will learn the basic principles of design, the tools needed to succeed in the industry and how to design objects for specific purposes and audiences. You will also learn how to market yourself and open your own design business all while building a portfolio. Let's align your skills and dreams today for a career in digital design! In the second half of the course, you will continue building the foundational skills necessary to become a successful graphic designer. You will learn and apply effective communication and people skills, explore and implement the design process, create images, properly use equipment, and evaluate and market your own designs. Windows or Mac Operating System required. Self Paced Scheduling Information Complete Courses - Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 9 months - 1/2 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 4 months - 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 2 months Abbreviated Courses - Abbreviated Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 60 days. - Abbreviated 1/2 and 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 30 days. Partial Courses - Monthly courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 1 month Delivery Method
Course Materials Students will need access to a digital camera, recording device, and printer. Students will need to supply various household items including paper and pens, etc. Windows or Mac Operating System required. Format Delivery : This is a virtual course delivered entirely by an established education organization, including a virtual instructor, to students and educators. Structure Complete : This is the complete version of the virtual course. |
