Course Description This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of fundamental concepts and their applications while reinforcing and developing skills essential for continued success as life long learners. A deep look at a variety world regions, students will explore the Far East, South Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, and Sub-Saharan Africa through its history, evolution, culture and conflict. Students will gain perspective on each region by analyzing how the past has impacted modern life. Geography, history, religion/philosophy and culture are focal points in the course, as well as the impact of the global community (America and Western Europe) upon each region. Self Paced Scheduling Information Complete Courses - Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 9 months - 1/2 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 4 months - 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 2 months Abbreviated Courses - Abbreviated Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 60 days. - Abbreviated 1/2 and 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 30 days. Partial Courses - Monthly courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 4 weeks Delivery Method
