Course Description
This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of fundamental concepts and their applications while reinforcing and developing skills essential for continued success as life long learners. Students continue their exploration of the Spanish language through more in-depth lessons and participation in forum discussions while improving their comprehension skills in both oral and written form as well as expanding their ability to interpret the language. Vocabulary topics explored include: places around town, weather, sports/leisure activities, and shopping/foods. Grammar topics explored include: simple commands, adjective agreement, immediate future, comparisons, adverbs, exclamatory phrases, direct object pronouns, and the use of informal and formal language. These vocabulary and grammar topics combined with cultural exploration make this course a dynamic early Spanish course.
