Course Description This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of fundamental concepts and their applications while reinforcing and developing skills essential for continued success as life long learners. Family Life Education is a comprehensive course which covers important healthy lifestyle topics, such as health, wellness, and first aid; nutrition and eating right; disease prevention; and alcohol and drug education. This course also includes units on social and psychological health as related to individual and family life. This includes topics such as dealing with mental health and body image, stress management, emotional needs and development, race and ethnicity, aging, and developmental behavior. This course will provide a well-rounded, multi-disciplinary look at healthy lifestyles and an individual's role in healthy family life. Self Paced Scheduling Information Complete Courses - Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 9 months - 1/2 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 4 months - 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 2 months Abbreviated Courses - Abbreviated Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 60 days. - Abbreviated 1/2 and 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 30 days. Partial Courses - Monthly courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 4 weeks Delivery Method
