* Prospective NCAA Division I and II student-athletes should visit the NCAA Eligibility Center website (https://web3.ncaa.org/ecwr3/) and seek the NCAA's acceptance of a particular Education Provider's virtual course prior to registration.
This class is designed for grades 1 and 2 learners. In this course, students will begin to develop knowledge of nutrition, exercise, and healthy lifestyles. Focus is placed on movement skills and concepts while developing an understanding of teamwork, sportsmanship, and safety. They will gain awareness of how to choose healthy foods from the five food groups. Students will learn basic anatomy and how major organs and systems work together to support life. Students are required to participate in regular physical activity by completing a weekly fitness log.
Although this course is self-paced, students are required to record their physical activities in a Weekly Fitness Log. Logs much be submitted each week. Logs that are submitted late lose points.

- 1/2 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 4 months
- 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 2 months
ABBREVIATED COURSES - A shortened course intended for students seeking to make-up failed courses or recover credits.
- Abbreviated Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 60 days.
- Abbreviated 1/2 and 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 30 days.
PARTIAL COURSES - A partial version of an online course intended for students temporarily away from classes (i.e. Home Bound Instruction, In/Out-of School Suspension).
