Course Description This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of fundamental concepts and their applications while reinforcing and developing skills essential for continued success as lifelong learners. Students will get an introduction to key concepts associated with personal finance that will allow them to be better served in the financial marketplace later in life. Students will commence the course with a look at banking, budgeting, entrepreneurship, and government programs. Additional topics include investing, CFR, consumer protection, taxes, and insurance. Self Paced Scheduling Information Complete Courses - Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 9 months - 1/2 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 4 months - 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 2 months Abbreviated Courses - Abbreviated Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 60 days. - Abbreviated 1/2 and 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 30 days.
