Course Description This course provides an overview of three of the Body Systems including the functions and actions of the bones, muscles and heart. The importance of exercise for the bones, muscles and heart is also discussed. In addition, the course will examine bullying, bullying prevention strategies, bullying intervention and cyberbullying. The student will also learn about the causes of disease and the body's defense against disease. Lastly, the course will help you distinguish making good food choices, identify main food groups and learning to eat from all five food groups with the help of MyPlate. Self Paced Scheduling Information Complete Courses - Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 9 months - 1/2 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 4 months - 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 2 months Abbreviated Courses - Abbreviated Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 60 days. - Abbreviated 1/2 and 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 30 days.
