Course Description Although this course is self paced, students are required to record their physical activities in a Weekly Fitness Log. Logs much be submitted each week. Logs that are submitted late lose points. The Physical Education course in 7th grade will enable the students to learn the benefits of participating in physical activities both now and in the future. Students will define the fundamentals of team and individual sports which include skills, rules and game strategies. Nutrition, Body Image and Eating Disorders will be explored. The student will define stress and identify Stress Management Techniques. Lastly, three major Body Systems will be learned and the student will understand the functions and the ways to keep these Body Systems healthy. Self Paced Scheduling Information Complete Courses - Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 9 months - 1/2 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 4 months - 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 2 months Abbreviated Courses - Abbreviated Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 60 days. - Abbreviated 1/2 and 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 30 days. Partial Courses - Monthly courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 4 weeks Delivery Method
