Course Description
This is an introductory course for students interested in expanding their knowledge of web browser coding. They will be exposed to the world of client-side programming with JavaScript using functions, data types, operators, arrays, flow control, Forms, manipulating data, creating customized objects, properties, and more. At the completion of the course, you will have a basic understanding of JavaScript and its application.

Students should have a working knowledge of HTML and CSS prior to taking this course.

Computer requirements for this course include access to a computer with recent versions of either Windows or macOS installed. Tablets and Chromebooks are not sufficient.

Prerequisites
Basic Web Design. Students should have a working knowledge of HTML and CSS prior to taking this course.

Course Materials
Students will need access to various software and web/text editors including an HTML Text Editor, Image Editing Software, and Webhosting and basic in-browser FTP. Computer requirements for this course include access to a computer with recent versions of either Windows or macOS installed. Tablets and Chromebooks are not sufficient.
