Course Description
Did you know that you are consuming digital media every time you open an app or use your computer or tablet? Digital media may be a webpage, video, image, podcast, form, or more. In the first half of the course, explore how you can develop webpages that embed different media and interactivity for excellent user experience through programming languages such as HTML and CSS. Examine trends and opportunities, education requirements, student organizations, and industry certification options. It is your turn to start designing websites and experiences for digital media consumers.


In the second half of the course, learn the trends, design principles, and security strategies. Explore what it means to adhere to ethical and legal requirements and complying with industry standards and accessibility. It is time to start designing the next best eCommerce site!

COMPLETE COURSES -A complete version of the virtual course.
- Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 9 months
- 1/2 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 4 months
- 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 2 months

ABBREVIATED COURSES - A shortened course intended for students seeking to recover credits or make-up failed courses during the regular school year or over the summer.
- Abbreviated Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 60 days.
- Abbreviated 1/2 and 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 30 days.

PARTIAL COURSES - A partial version of an online course intended for students temporarily away from classes (i.e. Home Bound Instruction, In/Out-of School Suspension).
- Partial courses must be completed by your school's end date
