Course Description Are you passionate about helping people and making a difference in their lives? If you are planning on going into the healthcare field, then this course is for you! In the first half of the course, explore your options by learning how to properly care for your patients and provide for the administrative needs of healthcare. Learn to prepare exam rooms, schedule, bill, and document all while solidifying your professional skills in communication, privacy, safety, and ethics. Allied health encompasses a broad range of different health care professionals who provide a range of skills in the fields of dentistry, pharmaceutical, medicine, nursing, nutrition, rehabilitation, and more. The second half of this course gives you the needed skills to pursue any of these careers in allied health. Self Paced Scheduling Information Complete Courses - Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 9 months - 1/2 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 4 months - 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 2 months Abbreviated Courses - Abbreviated Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 60 days. - Abbreviated 1/2 and 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 30 days.
