Course Description
War, crime, poverty, global warming, healthcare, effects of media, and more. In the first half of the course, explore some of the biggest challenges facing our world today and what led to these social problems. What effects do they have on our lives and societies? What possible solutions exist for solving them? Discover what measures you can take to tackle these issues head-on and start to develop your plan of action.
In the second half of the course, explore more of the challenges we face as individuals and as a global society and learn what we can do to reduce the effects of these conflicts and problems. From drug abuse to terrorists to homelessness and obesity, we can better face and solve these problems when we have a deeper understanding of their causes and influences on our lives.
