Course Description
This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of fundamental concepts and their applications while reinforcing and developing skills essential for continued success as lifelong learners. In British Literature I, students will read various literary classics, poetry, and historical texts. Students will determine the literal and figurative meanings of words in a nonfiction text. They will analyze how an author uses and refines the meaning of a key term or terms over the course of a text.
