Course Description This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of fundamental concepts and their applications while reinforcing and developing skills essential for continued success as life long learners. World History I is a social studies course that covers the time period from the Ancient Civilizations to the French Revolution. This cross curricular course is designed to teach students the history of Africa, Asia, and Europe from multiple angles. The course examines the geography of world history. Students understand how civilization throughout history has interacted with and thrived due to the land they inhabit. Self Paced Scheduling Information Complete Courses - Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 9 months - 1/2 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 4 months - 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 2 months Abbreviated Courses - Abbreviated Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 60 days. - Abbreviated 1/2 and 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 30 days. Format Delivery : This is a virtual course delivered entirely by an established education organization, including a virtual instructor, to students and educators.
