Course Description This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of fundamental concepts and their applications while reinforcing and developing skills essential for continued success as lifelong learners. 7th Grade Science lessons cover various sciences and include scientific research. This course identifies oceans and includes ocean water composition, its various depths, living organisms present, and the ocean food chain. Natural selection, Darwin's theory of evolution, adaptation, human body systems, binomial nomenclature, and mutations are introduced. The course also allows students to investigate how plants use the sun's energy during photosynthesis. In addition, the constellations are presented. The development and use of technology (robots, artificial skin, and genetic engineering) are discussed.
