Course Description
This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of fundamental concepts and their applications while reinforcing and developing skills essential for continued success as life long learners. This course expands students’ understanding of advanced algebraic reasoning and introduces the study of trigonometric concepts and applications. Major topics include functions and graphing, equations and inequalities, polynomial and rational expressions, exponential and logarithmic relationships, sequences and series, and trigonometric functions and identities. Students will develop problem-solving skills through the analysis of functions, equations, graphs, and mathematical models while making connections between algebra, geometry, and real-world situations. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, mathematical communication, and the use of algebraic and trigonometric methods to analyze and solve complex problems.

ABBREVIATED COURSES - A shortened course intended for students seeking to make-up failed courses or recover credits.
- Abbreviated Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 60 days.
- Abbreviated 1/2 and 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 30 days.

PARTIAL COURSES - A partial version of an online course intended for students temporarily away from classes (i.e. Home Bound Instruction, In/Out-of School Suspension).
- Partial courses must be completed by your school's end date
