Course Description This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of fundamental concepts and their applications while reinforcing and developing skills essential for continued success as lifelong learners. The Physical Science course is the most comprehensive in scope and sequence for general science topics. It begins with the history of science, scientific method steps, the atom, elements, and periodic table and takes the student into the chemical aspects of matter then into forces, motion, and energy. The second half of the course focuses on electricity, magnetism, and earth science topics and concludes with applied technology. The overall objective is to provide the learner with the concepts to enhance higher level thinking skills in formulating opinions as they make decisions formulating their future in science courses or as a contributing member of society. Self Paced Scheduling Information Complete Courses - Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 9 months - 1/2 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 4 months - 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 2 months Abbreviated Courses - Abbreviated Full Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 60 days. - Abbreviated 1/2 and 1/4 Credit Equivalent courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 30 days. Partial Courses - Monthly courses must be completed by your school's end date and within 4 weeks Delivery Method

Format Delivery : This is a virtual course delivered entirely by an established education organization, including a virtual instructor, to students and educators.
