Course Description This course is designed to have students analyze the nation's shift from the Civil War to the 1940s. Students will study the history of the United States and critique some of the events in an effort to better understand what led America and the world in general, to the World Wars. Students will evaluate Roosevelt's policies on government control of business as well as comparing and contrasting the policies of multiple presidents regarding the Great Depression.
