Course Description Calculus introduces students to elementary differential and integral calculus. Continuous and discontinuous functions, limits, the chain rule, and applications of maximum and minimum values occur before related rates and graphs are examined. Connections are built between calculus concepts and lessons previously studied in earlier math courses. The important theorems of calculus are examined with applications to real world settings.
